Exam Preparation

We aim to prepare you as thoroughly as possible for the language exams that are now required in almost every field. We care about you: whether your goal is an academic post, a postgraduate degree or study abroad, we offer a planned programme that builds exam strategy and genuine language skill together. Our aim is not just a score, but English you can use comfortably in everyday life.

National exams: YDS, YÖKDİL, YKS

   YDS (Foreign Language Exam)

   Administered by ÖSYM, YDS has become a sought-after exam across education and the business world. The 80-question multiple-choice test measures vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension and translation; there is no listening or speaking section. We prepare you for it in the best possible way and help you reach your goals steadily.

   YÖKDİL (Higher Education Foreign Language Exam)

   YÖKDİL is a foreign language proficiency exam run by the Council of Higher Education together with ÖSYM. It is held separately for Science, Health Sciences and Social Sciences, and its questions are based on academic texts from each field. Our preparation works through texts and vocabulary suited to your field.

   YKS – Foreign Language Test (YDT)

   For students who aim to study in a university language department, we offer planned training for the Foreign Language Test within YKS that covers both the exam and general language use. The goal is to build not only an exam score but the language foundation the degree will demand.

International exams: IELTS, TOEFL, PTE

For those aiming at study abroad, a visa application or an international career, we offer IELTS, TOEFL and PTE preparation. Unlike YDS and YÖKDİL, these exams measure all four skills — listening, reading, writing and speaking — so preparation gives more room to productive skills.

• IELTS: two versions, Academic and General Training; results are reported as band scores from 1 to 9, and the speaking section is a face-to-face interview with an examiner.
• TOEFL iBT: taken on a computer; the four sections add up to a total score of 0–120.
• PTE Academic: fully computer-based, scored from 10 to 90; the speaking section is recorded and assessed by computer as well.

How we work

We begin by establishing your current level and target score. We then work systematically on question types, time management and common mistakes, tracking your progress through regular practice and feedback. Because exam technique and general language use run side by side, you keep a lasting language skill long after exam day. Our teachers mentor you throughout; your questions do not end when the lesson does.
